Why does Google Analytics append an index.php after each url?
Description of the problem: Google Analytics appends an index.php after each url
In the Analytics result views (nearly) every directory url has index.php appended. This appeared suddenly, you did nothing.
Solution: Change the default page in Google Analytics settings
- Log into your Google Analytics account
- Choose one of your Website profiles and click the edit (settings) button
- You'll see information called Main Website Profile Information - and their is an entry called Default page - which is set to index.php .
To change this, press the edit link in this box. - On the next page - remove this or change this to your default index file - and click the "Save changes" button.
- That's it. :)
