Description of the problem: Google Analytics appends an index.php after each url

In the Analytics result views (nearly) every directory url has index.php appended. This appeared suddenly, you did nothing.

Solution: Change the default page in Google Analytics settings

  1. Log into your Google Analytics account
  2. Choose one of your Website profiles and click the edit (settings) button
  3. You'll see information called Main Website Profile Information - and their is an entry called Default page - which is set to index.php .
    To change this, press the edit link in this box.
  4. On the next page - remove this or change this to your default index file - and click the "Save changes" button.
  5. That's it. :)
